第二乐章，奏鸣曲形式，是抒情优美的徐缓乐章。弦乐器以庄重的齐奏开始，不久由双簧管奏出第一主题。第二主题则以届调，由双簧管与第一小提琴追逐之下呈示。经过了十小节短小的中段之后，又轮到了再现，这个乐章忽略了用双簧管呈示第一主题那部分。而迎接第二主题，然后经过花奏部分，最后以跟开头相同的壮重音形来结束全乐章。
