Dragon at the stony Gates(巨龙传说) lt was along the river Wind Our story, long ago, begins Though people here and others near Are loath to speak of what has been I tell you of an awesome scourge Once deep beneath the ground submerged When, hewn of slate, great stony gates Upon the mountainside emerged It came with sound so deafening Some feared their maker beckoning Across the land fell burning sand It seemed their time of reckoning As if this weren't enough, there came The one who brought this fiery rain A dragon rose to challenge those Who dare defy her message plain “The world is changing," she proclaimed "The age of greed must now refrain” "The precious ore beyond the door” “It must within the Earth remain” She never spoke a word again And lay upon the rocky plain And change, did she, entirely Into the mountainous terrain But, as a fever, rumour spread And grew times two with each time said "Beyond the gates, a treasure waits” “Of gold and silver, rubies red！" And soon the king received the word This news about a dragon's hoard “I fear no worm or fiery storm！" “No dragon shall survive my sword！" His army was dispatched with speed To live and die by his decree As they set sail, not one could fail This mission most corrupt with greed Into the river Wind they came Their banners bearing out his name No stronger blade was ever made Or shield to field a fiery rain When they arrived and ventured near Then，sure as bedrock，she appeared And in a flash of fire and ash Ten-thousand men just disappeared And to this day，the Elders tell Of what they've seen and know so well By winter's hand comes blackened sand The remnants of this ancient spell So hear me, lest you learn too late The hungry heart best hesitate And not approach those stony gates For she，beside them，still awaits 蜿蜒河流的风 亘古传说响起 人们不论远近 对往事绝口不提 传说这灾难祸根 曾深埋地底 很久很久以前 当奇岩 石门 在山边耸立那天 声响震耳欲聋 有如魔鬼召唤 灼热砂砾 覆盖大地 彷佛末日 审判来临 如此竟不足以警示 巨龙伴随火雨现身 她护卫着石门 告诫痴心妄想的人 “世界正在堕落改变” 巨龙宣告 “贪婪世纪必须终止” “石门宝矿” "必须留下 那是大地珍藏” 巨龙未再发一语 她置身岩原间 并逐渐幻变 最终全然消失群山间 巨龙传说从此燎原 一人耳语众人皆知 “石门后有宝矿等候喔” “黄金白银 红宝遍地呢” 就连国王也被诱惑 “石门后有巨龙守护的宝矿喔” “我不怕虫或龙 更别说火暴雨” “什么龙 都将死于我剑下” 国王火速成军 生死度外 将士使命必达 当军队出发 无人不知此役只许成功 贪婪必胜 随河流的风 军队前进 旌旗写着国王的名 刀剑无比锋利 盾牌无惧火雨 当抵达险境 那巨龙如宣誓般现身 就在吹灰间 千军万马尽付湮灭 当年见证传说的长者们 如今依然谆谆告诫 当北风送来黑色砂砾 那是魔咒余烬仍未浇熄 请听我言 勿重蹈覆辙 贪婪的心请三思 石门前请止步 因为巨龙仍日夜守护
