海洋与辛巴德的船，庄严的广板，引子转不太快的快板主部。从e小调开始，转A大调，接E大调主部。
从引子开始，出现威严的夏里尔王主题，小提琴独奏以宣叙调风格，表现雪拉莎开始讲述故事，夏里尔王屡屡打断故事，构成大海波浪。木管奏船在海上左右摇晃的动机，长笛奏辛巴德的旋律，小提琴奏雪拉莎的主题。接着木管奏辛巴德旋律，国王主题以大提琴表现，雪拉莎主题仍由小提琴独奏，最后变成平静地，国王主题出现，雪拉莎主题与表现船在海上摇晃的旋律结合而结束。
