第二乐章，这是一首大场面的小步舞曲。演奏风平浪静，似乎是要为平凡的第一乐章挽回一点面子。可惜的是，一对可怜的法国号吹奏了一段走调的乐句。乐曲拉拉扯扯地再次重复，希望法国号会有所改善，可惜到头来让人回味的还是一段走音的法国号。除此以外，就是弦乐不断地以音阶为主题，爬上爬下变不出什么花样。
