在这首作品中，Samuel回忆了那些遗失的美好。他对垮掉的一代诗歌很感兴趣：“这就是我年轻时的样子——天真、自由、纯净。这也是我沮丧的现状——成长、变老、不安。” 从抽象的意义上说，“不会飞的鸟”代表纯真，“美国人的嘴”则代表纯真的丧失。于是在声音表达上，这首歌开始时很安静，随后用更复杂的乐器和多轨道的人声来诠释这种日益增长的挫败感。
这得是得多温柔啊，每个女孩应该都很向往爱德华的那种专属的温柔。
有一种在金黄色的田野中一个人恬静的躺在地上，一个人静静地享受着大自然的美，听着音乐，双眼望向天际，美美的幻想……没有打扰，没有纷争与世俗，只有暖暖的风和随风摇曳的稻草～

高中开始喜欢暮光之城，先追完了电影再买了小说。有段时间还粉了罗伯特帕丁森，下了电影里所有的插曲，钢琴曲，在每一个橘色路灯下的晚自习后的夜晚，耳机里无数次循环。十几年啦，再听时鼻子发酸，希望未来越来越好。
这首歌在原版的基础上改编了点，更清亮更明朗，把主场的磁性嗓音淋漓尽致地表现出来，更是电影里爱德华与贝拉跨越物种的爱恋和声嘶力竭的爱情💏，电影永存❤️
这个版比原来那个升了半个key伴奏取消了吉他，听起来确实带着伤感，这版适合分手听，原版适合谈恋爱
一张口，我已经坐在窗前等爱德华了😂
