早年经历
1999年5月27日，Billie Marten出生于英国北约克郡城市里彭。七八岁左右开始学习弹吉他和唱歌， 九岁开始创作自己的音乐。 十一二岁时，Billie的妈妈在YouTube上传了Billie唱歌的视频想给在法国的外婆看，意外的获得了数十万次的观看量。Billie曾经就读于Ripon Grammar School。
演艺经历
2014年5月，就在Billie15岁生日前不久，她通过Burberry's curation program推出了单曲“Ribbon”。“Ribbon”是她早前一年与Fiona Bevan共同创作的。Billie解释道，“Ribbon” 这首歌其中之一的主题是想要表达" The elusiveness of the city, and how quickly you can lose something amongst the people and tube stations."2014年6月，Billie Marten发行了她的首张EP Ribbon 。Billie曾描述她的音乐风格为"A mix between acoustic and quite folky and a little indie."
Billie Marten签约独立厂牌国际象棋俱乐部Chess Club Records（索尼音乐旗下）。2015年4月，Billie发行单曲“Heavy Weather”，并在Huw Stephens'BBC Radio 1 show进行了首次公演。2015年11月发行第二张EP As Long As。
2015年11月，Billie Marten被提名为BBC年度之声。
个人生活
Billie Marten非常喜欢羊驼，她曾经表示想要买一只羊驼。Billie说到" I have this weird obsession with alpacas, I can’t explain it. I think they’re beautiful and I love them".
