巴蒂·瑞奇（Buddy Rich）1917-1987，一个著名的鼓手。他自学爵士鼓，在18个月大小的时候就已经在一个叫做“Traps,the Drum Woner"的综艺节目中演奏。1945年到1947年，他曾组建过一支略带波普风格的乐队，但是乐队并不受欢迎。随后又与爱乐爵士乐团一起巡回演出，与无数50年代的全明星一起为Verve乐队录音。
