Slaughterhouse

Slaughterhouse is a Hip Hop group consisting of rappers Crooked I, Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz and Royce Da 5'9". The group formed in late 2008 after Crooked I, Joell Ortiz and Royce Da 5'9" appeared on the song "Slaughterhouse" from Joe Budden's album Halfway House. They took their name from the song. The group is planning to release a full-length album August 11, 2009 on the label E1 Music (formerly Koch Records). Coinciding with the album release the members have or are planning to release solo material to generate buzz for themselves and the group. This will include a late summer tour as well as a spot on the annual "Rock the Bells" tour. The group is notable for the lyrical abilities of all four members and their large internet following.
