Boléro, M. 81 (波列罗舞曲)-The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra
SQ全曲在一个固定的节奏背景上，由两个主题及其不断的交替反复组成。节奏充满活力，贯穿全曲始终。全曲始终在C大调上，只是最后的两小节才开始
转调； 前半部分配有和声，除了独奏就是齐奏，后半部分附有淡淡的和弦。而且自始至终只有渐强的变化。
乐曲开始由小鼓和中提琴、大提琴的拨弦来表现"波莱罗"的节奏（铃鼓自始至终打着相同的节奏）。这种节奏持续四小节之后，从第五小节开始出现了第一主题，第一主题舒展明亮，具有浓郁的西班牙风格，该主题先由长笛在低音区轻轻奏出；期间经单簧管反复之后，由大管奏出第二主题。乐曲的第二主题是第一主题的黯淡的答句，第二主题被作者称为具有西班牙——阿拉伯风格。
两个主题在调式色彩上形成鲜明的对照，连续反复了八次，整个音乐在进行过程中，旋律、节奏和速度始终保持不变。在第三次反复时，加入了平行的大三和旋，形成了平行声部，仿佛两个调甚至三个调同时存在，产生了多调式的色彩效果。在主题的不断反复中，力度从弱到强，不同乐器的应用和色彩不断的变化，使得情绪越来越热烈。临近尾声，旋律突然转为E大调，又迅速转回C 大调，在不协和的音响和强烈的节奏中，以变格的方式结束了全曲。
