《G大调双曼陀林协奏曲》是维瓦尔第为两把曼陀林创作的协奏曲，是中规中矩的三乐章形式，标准的快-慢-快格式，三乐章的地位基本同等重要，两把曼陀林的地位也基本同等重要，这部作品的新颖之处在于作曲家没有刻意迁就哪一声部，曼陀林总是在与小提琴相同的旋律中从合奏慢慢走出，形成两把曼陀林相互追逐、模仿、对话，又一起汇入其他乐器，这个特点从第一乐章一直持续到第三乐章，这也得益于作品的乐器配置，各乐章除两把曼陀林之外，弦乐器与键盘乐器的配置也一直相互依存、相互配合，“彼此之间有一种恰到好处的和谐与适中，没有哪一部分突出到压倒其他部分，以致失去其余部分的比例，损害全体结构的完美”这与古典、浪漫时期的协奏曲相比虽然略显平淡，可格外的清新纯净，与新古典主义运动以后法国文学语言中体现出来的明晰与纯洁的特点异常符合。
