法国导演弗朗索瓦.吉拉德的电影《The Red Violin》插曲。电影讲述了一把1681年，出自意大利制琴大师之手的小提琴的历程。制琴师妻子因临产去世，他为表怀念，把妻子的血液涂在了一把小提琴上。这把小提琴由此粘上了邪性，凡是得到这把小提琴的，都是音乐天才，又都意外身亡。在19世纪末期流传到一个中国人手里，他带回中国并修复了它，传给了其后人。WG时代，这把小提琴差点被焚毁，主人交给了一个叫周元（Chou Yuan的音译）的音乐老师保管，周元死后，又流传到了纽约拍卖会，因颜色与众不同被引起了注意，分析鉴定后得知，这是一把价值连城的小提琴，也提示了其悲欢离合三百年的历史。
