我盯着这些岩石表面的印记看了很久，一动不动。风吹过岩石发出压抑的哀嚎，我看着象形文字参差的线条在我眼前重新调整了形状。那形状，仿佛像水管中喷出的水被瞬间冻结成冰柱，仿佛那夕阳中的微笑顷刻间石化成永恒，或是一对如胶似漆的恋人紧锁拥吻的定格。时光在如雪般冰冷的灰球中停滞，在一个怪物降临的几秒前冻结。 I watch these carvings on the rock face for hours, motionless. With nothing but the subdued wail of the wind through the rocks, I see the serrated lines of the hieroglyph reshape in front of my eyes. From a cluster of shapes to a frozen jet of hose water in a garden; a warm sunset and faces petrified in eternal expressions of laughter. Or two lovers, clasped to each other like magnets with their faces locked in a clumsy kiss.
