[ti:] [ar:] [al:] [by:时间戳工具V2.0_20200810] [offset:0] [00:05.19]Well along with our special feature [00:08.43]Of this Beach Boys' Christmas Album [00:10.05]Once again I'm happy [00:12.78]To see the smiling face of the leader of [00:16.20]This popular group here in the studio Brian Wilson [00:21.84]Good to see you again Brian [00:24.51]Hi Jack [00:24.72]This Beach Boys' Christmas Album is really something [00:26.46]Ah d**k Reynolds did the arrangements I guess huh [00:30.18]Yes he did He did a beautiful job a wonderful job [00:33.63]Is this the first time you've worked with him [00:35.91]Right I'd been uh wanting to meet him [00:37.26]And work with him for quite a long time [00:40.44]Now who's idea was it to have you featured [00:43.14]On this uh one particular tune I [00:46.02]I was particularly impressed [00:54.36]With it-A Blue Christmas [01:03.81]Well I sort of picked out that song to sing for myself [01:09.57]I I love the song and uh [01:12.87]I've always wanted to sing it [01:15.84]So I thought I'd sing it [01:19.50]Well maybe this will be the start [01:23.37]Of a whole new career huh [01:27.60]I don't know that's It it could [01:29.40]And it couldn't Ah I really don't know [01:32.85]Well let's leave it to the listeners [01:37.14]To see what they think of it [01:39.24]Right [01:41.25]I notice this album has uh ah [01:44.31]Along with some of the popular things like uh [01:47.70]I'll Be Home For Christmas uh [01:50.70]Auld Lang Syne and uh um We Three Kings [01:56.94]And some of the traditional things [02:02.28]That you have a couple of your [02:09.15]Your own uh Beach Boys type sounds in the LP too [02:14.61]Uh huh we've more or less made one side uh our own style and [02:18.15]Kind of a teen side and an adult side [02:20.64]Uh huh right um hm Contrasting [02:21.87]Uh huh Now we have uh one of your originals coming up here Brian [02:27.93]Uh Christmas Day You wrote this for the album specifically [02:33.99]Yes I did Uh huh [02:35.88]Uh huh And now do you do your the vocal arrangements [02:40.29]Or did d**k Reynolds handle all of that [02:41.91]D**k handled the vocal arrangements on the ah the modern side [02:46.86]The traditional side and I did the ah vocal and the [02:49.62]Arrangements of the music on our own style our basic style side [02:53.58]D**k did the strings also on the uh on the modern side [02:57.60]Coming up now ah a very sentimental type Christmas song [03:00.39]Particularly for those who are away [03:04.86]From home during this time of year [03:08.40]I'll Be Home For Christmas Any ah thing particular about this [03:13.92]This tune that you'd like to say Brian [03:16.71]Ah well I guess there's something [03:20.61]Very obvious when you hear the song [03:22.59]It's ah there's a very definite influence of the Four Freshmen [03:26.97]On the arrangement as well as the delivery and uh obviously [03:30.18]We all look up and admire the style of the Four Freshmen and [03:38.64]Uh I feel this has been the greatest one of the greater [03:44.40]Vocal influences ah in the world today [03:47.58]Well it's certainly been uh nice [03:50.07]Of you to take the time to come [03:55.44]By again here for our special Beach Boys' Christmas show [03:59.43]You have a fine album here and uh [04:01.26]I hope you'll be home for Christmas [04:05.19]Well I hope I will too I hope everyone's home for Christmas [04:08.43]I do too Brian Wilson thanks again for coming by [04:12.60]Thank you very much Jack [04:15.39]And here again the Beach Boys' Christmas Album
