Pomp and Circumstance March No.1 Op.39-Noel Rawsthorne
SQ《D大调第1号进行曲》采用三部曲式，以引子：热烈的极快板开始，随后进入一个新的主题：强拍与短音节交替出现，而低音部则持续地奏出不和谐音。此时，弦乐队演奏一段富有节奏的旋律，并以升调和降调重复一遍，之后木管乐器加入演奏并重复整个部分。在进入中段之前，铜管乐器会在木管和弦乐的旋律上奏出高音，而打击乐器则会伴随巴松管发出有节奏的单音。其后，小号和长号会引导整个乐团进入最著名的中段部分。中段部分先由第一小提琴、四支圆号和两支单簧管以下属音G大调演奏主题，其后整个管弦乐队和竖琴加入演奏，重复这一主题，最后风琴也加入演奏，在D大调上再次重复主题。结尾部分则再现引子部分的轻快主题。
