[ti:] [ar:] [al:] [by:时间戳工具V2.0_20200810] [offset:0] [00:00.09]Well along with our special feature of this Beach Boys' Christmas Album [00:04.38]Once again I'm happy to see the smiling face of the leader of [00:07.17]This popular group here in the studio brian wilson [00:09.90]Good to see you again Brian [00:11.22]Hi Jack [00:12.24]This Beach Boys' Christmas Album is really something [00:14.52]Ah d**k Reynolds did the arrangements I guess huh [00:17.07]Yes he did [00:17.55]He did a beautiful job a wonderful job [00:18.75]Is this the first time you've worked with him [00:20.19]Right [00:20.82]I'd been uh wanting to meet him and work with him for quite a long time [00:25.23]Now who's idea was it to have you featured on this uh one particular tune I [00:28.74]I was particularly impressed with it-A Blue Christmas [00:30.93]Well I sort of picked out that song to sing for myself [00:34.44]I I love the song and uh I've always wanted to sing it so I thought I'd sing it [00:39.21]Well maybe this will be the start of a whole new career huh [00:42.00]I don't know that's It it could and it couldn't [00:45.06]Ah I really don't know [00:46.38]Well let's leave it to the listeners to see what they think of it [00:48.51]Right [00:48.75]I notice this album has uh ah along with some of the popular things like uh [00:53.85]I'll Be Home For Christmas uh Auld Lang Syne and uh um We Three Kings [01:00.33]And some of the traditional things that you have a couple of your [01:03.42]Your own uh beach boys type sounds in the lp too [01:06.36]Uh huh we've more or less made one side uh our own style and [01:10.47]Kind of a teen side and an adult side [01:11.94]Uh huh right um hm [01:12.45]Contrasting [01:13.29]Uh huh [01:14.25]Now we have uh one of your originals coming up here Brian [01:17.82]Uh Christmas Day You wrote this for the album specifically [01:21.12]Yes I did [01:21.66]Uh huh [01:21.81]Uh huh [01:22.98]And now do you do your the vocal arrangements [01:25.05]Or did d**k reynolds handle all of that [01:26.67]D**k handled the vocal arrangements on the ah the modern side [01:29.79]The traditional side and I did the ah vocal and the [01:33.24]Arrangements of the music on our own style our basic style side [01:36.96]D**k did the strings also on the uh on the modern side [01:40.86]Coming up now ah a very sentimental type Christmas song [01:44.07]Particularly for those who are away from home during this time of year [01:47.52]I'll Be Home For Christmas Any ah thing particular about this [01:50.94]This tune that you'd like to say brian [01:53.40]Ah well I guess there's something very obvious when you hear the song [01:57.51]It's ah there's a very definite influence of the Four Freshmen [02:01.95]On the arrangement as well as the delivery and uh obviously [02:07.65]We all look up and admire the style of the four freshmen and [02:11.49]Uh I feel this has been the greatest one of the greater [02:14.07]Vocal influences ah in the world today [02:16.89]Well it's certainly been uh nice of you to take the time to come [02:19.29]By again here for our special beach boys' christmas show [02:22.38]You have a fine album here and uh I hope you'll be home for Christmas [02:26.25]Well I hope I will too [02:27.06]I hope everyone's home for Christmas [02:28.44]I do too [02:29.04]Brian Wilson thanks again for coming by [02:30.54]Thank you very much Jack [02:31.44]And here again the Beach Boys' Christmas Album
