She was born to a Moroccan Berber mother and a Swedish father. When she was younger, she used to go to Morocco four times a year. Karlberg says her biggest inspiration when it comes to her music is Amy Winehouse and Christina Aguilera. Karlberg became a viral sensation when she covered Beyonce's song "Crazy In Love".
