The Meters歌手简介
The Meters，美国放克乐队，1965年成立于新奥尔良，成员有Zigaboo Modeliste（鼓手）、George Porter Jr. (贝斯手)、Leo Nocentelli（吉他手)和Art Neville (键盘手)。乐队从20世纪60年代到1977年都在表演和录制他们自己的音乐，作为伴奏乐队也对其他艺人起着重要的作用，包括Lee Dorsey、Robert Palmer、Dr. John和Allen Toussaint。他们的歌曲《Cissy Strut》和《Look-Ka Py Py》被视为放克音乐的经典之作。
