Peppermint Harris歌手简介
Harrison D.Nelson Jr.（1925年7月17日-1999年3月19日）也被称为Peppermint Harris，是美国节奏蓝调和跳跃布鲁斯歌手和吉他手。
他来自德克萨斯州特克萨卡纳，20世纪40年代末他作为Peppermint Nelson，和朋友Lightnin'Hopkins第一次在休斯敦录制唱片。之后他录制了更多唱片，包括1950年的《Raining In My Heart》，通过Bob Shad建立的唱片公司，舍弃了Nelson的名字，以Peppermint Harris的名字发行唱片。
1951年他搬到了加利福尼亚州洛杉矶的Modern Records公司，并且在Aladdin Records拥有了最热门的R＆B歌曲《I Got Loaded》，这首歌在同年11月美国BillboardR＆B 排行榜上排名第一。他还有其他八张发行的唱片但是都没有这张唱片成功。20世纪50年代末至60年代他在南加州不同的小型唱片公司如Dart、Combo、Duke、Jewel发行唱片，但这些唱片也不太成功。1962年他在Time label发行了同名专辑。
Harris在路易斯安那州什里夫波特录制唱片，在萨克拉门托和新泽西州工作，之后1995年他在Home Cooking label录制了最后一张专辑。
1999年他在新泽西州伊丽莎白去世，享年73岁。
