历史
Embodyment起初是作为死亡金属乐队开始，在这种音乐风格下发行了3张样品唱片。1997年和Solid State Records唱片公司签约之后，他们发行了首张专辑《Embrace The Eternal》。
在主唱Kris McCaddon离开之后，Sean Corbray加入了乐队，并给乐队带来了显著的风格变化，对于《Embrace The Eternal》之后的专辑《The Narrow Scope Of Things》影响明显。
Embodyment在Solid State唱片公司的第三张也是最后一张专辑《Hold Your Breath》继续着《The Narrow Scope Of Things》的音乐风格，向着更加另类和硬质摇滚的方向改变。Embodyment的最后一张专辑《Songs For The Living》也是一样的，表现了更少的金属风格。2004年初，Embodyment乐队解散。
2007年，Newgrounds的成员QuinnZX被发现将Embodyment的歌曲放送到流行的Adobe Flash网站上。
2011年2月，含有5收单曲的EP《Forgotten》在iTunes上发行。这张EP包含5首从《Songs For The Living》时期之后的歌曲。
