Biography
by Richie Unterberger
Bassist and songwriter Martin Gordon's long and varied career has taken in stints with Sparks, Radio Stars, Jet, and the reunited version of John's Children; as well as production and session work with artists such as Kylie Minogue, George Michael, Boy George, Blur, Primal Scream, Robert Palmer, and S'Express. In 2003, he released his debut solo album, The Baboon in the Basement, which was very much in the style of '70s British rock.
