Yasmeen Sulieman是出生在加利福尼亚州奥克兰的美国歌手，在夏威夷长大。她以音乐剧《Little Shop Of Horrors》进行巡回演出，并在UPN的剧集《Half ＆ Half》中出现。Sulieman与Magic Johnson的唱片公司Magic Johnson Music/MCA Records于2002年签约，并发行了单曲《Blue Jeans》（由Jazze Pha制作），在Billboard Hot 100榜单上排第97，在R＆B榜单上排第53。她的首张专辑《When Will It Be Me》在美国发行计划被搁置一年以后在日本发行。
2007年7月，Karla Mosley宣布，她想离开Hi-5追求其他兴趣，Yasmeen接管了她的乐队。
2009年，她与Strictly Rhythm/Defected Records唱片公司签约，并与各种DJ合作录制了一些舞曲。她在这个公司发布了三张单曲《Ready Or Not》、《Gone》和《Rise》。2012年，她与Erik Machado（又名Alias Rhythm）组成了二人组合Rose Rouge，他们发行了EP《Steady》。
2014年，她加入百老汇的《Beautiful:The Carole King Musical》作为合奏的一部分。她也出现在2014年5月13日发行的唱片中。
