VARSOVIE

VARSOVIE emerged in 2005, in Grenoble (France), by the creative output of Arnault Destal (lyrics, drums, arrangements) and Grégory Cathérina (music, vocals, guitars) - both ingrained figures of the French underground scene. (Forbidden Site) Joined by Thibault Chapelat as bassist, the band records a first 5 songs EP called “NEUF MILLIMETRES” (sold-out) in 2006, in a dark-rock / post-punk style. In the image of this capital (Warsaw) that, in the middle of the apocalypse, fought on, area by area, barricade by barricade, historic and personal crises gather towards an effervescent, radical, melancholic and raw musical tradition, supported by Symbolist, Decadent and Expressionist French lyrics. In July 2006 Yan Four joins the band as bassist. VARSOVIE brings all of this energy and passion together on stage, radical and effervescent. The band plays about sixty concerts in Europe.
