B-Movie Lightning歌手简介
B-Movie Lightning is the music of Mike Smalle-also of the pop group Cane 141. Hailing from Galway in the west of Ireland he has written and produced 4 albums in twice as many years. He has collaborated with such musical luminaries as Mark Eitzel (American Music Club) Sean O Hagan ( The High Llamas/Microdisney/Stereolab) and Cristian Vogel of Super_collider fame. A number of radio session have also been recorded over the years, most notably a John Peel session in 2001. 2 Tracks were also released on Chris Coco & Rob da bank's 'The Blue Room' series.
In 2005 the album MoonPool was nominated for best Irish album of the year in the inaugural Choice Music Awards. In 2006, Cane 141 collaborated with Roisin Coyle for the “ Lost At Sea” installation which they brought to New York that year. The CD of this was released in 2007.
