Alvin Batiste（1932年11月7日–2007年5月6日）是Avant-Garde爵士乐单簧管演奏者，出生在路易斯安那州新奥尔良。他曾在巴吞鲁日Southern University给他自己的爵士音乐学院上课。
他最后的专辑由Branford Marsalis制作，还与Russell Malone和Herlin Riley合作。
在Southern University时许多知名的音乐人都在Batiste门下学习，包括Branford Marsalis,Randy Jackson(American Idol),他的兄弟Herman,Donald Harrison,Henry Butler,Charlie Singleton(Cameo),Ronald Myers以及Woodie Douglas(Spirit)。
