DOE EYE

I got into the studio for the first time last summer (2011) to create a demo to pass along to the potential teachers/students I would meet at my first year at the Berklee College of Music and it turned out to be bigger than I had ever imagined. LIVE 105 (San Francisco's biggest radio station) was doing a local band blog at the time and I happened to finish up my first song 'I Hate You'. On a whim, I sent my song - expecting absolutely nothing - or maybe a short email saying that is sucked. To my surprise, LIVE 105 loved my song and aired it on the radio the week of it's release and I've been getting airplay on the station ever since. Since then - I was chosen by FUSE TV as their Unsigned Artist of the Month in November, LIVE 105's Top 20 Bands of 2011, #8 on Hype Machine for a week in January, Alternative Press' Artist of the Month in May and was selected by Billboard as a West Coast Finalist in the Billboard Battle of the Bands. I had a full page spread in Billboard Magazine in May 2012. My sophomore EP entitled 'Hotel Fire' produced by John Vanderslice (Nada Surf, Mates of State, MK Ultra), will be out September 4th on iTunes, Spotify and Bandcamp.
