The four band members Jan, Steffen, Jorge and Rene have known each other since childhood. Being the tight entity these guys are, they evoke a feeling of shared identity whenever they are around. After about 200 gigs played all over Germany with previous bands, they have continuously evolved in every respect. The debut album ‘Lambs Turn Into Lions’ has been recorded within three weeks in collaboration with renowned music producer Florian Nowak and will be released on 10/07/11. The experiences the guys shared over time allowed them to mature as a band and as individuals. Reflecting this developing process, the band’s upcoming album attests sound and song structures as professionally established and of international quality. Influenced by bands such as Underoath, Thrice and August Burns Red, their modern sound ranges between Metal and Hardcore - without pandering to the cliche. Powerful screams, perfectly matched with crystal clear vocals, are supported and accentuated by brutal riffs and impulsive drums. Are Those Your Friends is a diligent band - giving their all off as well as on stage - trying to convince even the last critic.
