Marlon Roudette生于伦敦，父亲是英国的音乐制作人Cameron McVey，母亲是来自圣文森特和格林纳丁斯的设计师和艺术家Vonnie Roudette。幼年时期曾搬去母亲在印度居住的家乡生活一段时间，在那里开始了他的音乐生涯。回到伦敦之后，Marlon得以将雷鬼、舞曲、嘻哈甚至蓝调、爵士等风潮改建，用更新鲜亮丽的方式将以呈现。
