Geva Alon Is A founding member of the rock trio, know as THE FLYING BABY. the band was formed in 2000 in Israel and recorded 3 albums since then. the first one was never released and the two others, "Inner World" (2003) and "Pain to Give" (2005) were released on Blue Sun Music in Israel. the band have lived in California and toured the states through 2001-2002. their last tour was June 2005 around the east coast. THE FLYING BABY gained a lot of appreciation from the Israeli music industry and their following has been faithful and ever growing. Geva Alon is releasing his first solo album these days. the album, titled "Days of Hunger" is a different side of Geva. A more acoustic side that wanders between the Blues, Folk and even Country styles. for years Geva has played hundreds of acoustic gigs by himself in different bars and clubs around the country and beyond. it was always the most natural thing for him to do and now, for the first time, it's on cd. this collection of intimate, melodic and very personal songs that were written in the past 2 years, shows an almost opposite side from the hard rockin', FLYING BABY. but after all, digging into the songs lyrics and atmosphere, you'll find the same person behind them all. In 2007, Geva also released his second album titled "The Wall of Sound".
