Molly Thomason

Born in Sidcup, Kent, England, Molly moved to NS with her theatre practitioner parents when she was 2. She’s been called an old soul in a charged, 15 year old body. Her passion for writing and performing communicates through her intelligent and subtle lyrics and her deft and lyrical melody writing. Molly was the youngest (at 14) recipient of an Emerging Music Grant through the Dept of Tourism and Culture (NS) for her Debut CD, Through the Static. It was released to terrific reviews in June 2009 and then nominated for New Artist Recording of the year, Molson Canadian Nova Scotia Music Week. Her first single, Kiss Me, went to #1 on the East Coast Countdown and stayed for three weeks, then in the top ten for four months. She’s performed her original work at, among many other places...
