对于死硬的金属迷，DESTRUCTION应该不是个陌生的名字。DESTRUCTION是当之无愧的Thrash/Death Metal的先驱，作为德国速度金属三巨头之一的DESTRUCTION在欧洲绝对是个传奇性的乐队，影响力极广泛而深远。在出版了两张LP和两张EP之后，在德国及东西欧DESTRUCTION已建立极大的名望和追随者，但始终没有杀入美国。1989年发行的这张Release From Agony总算把DESTRUCTION强悍的Thrash Metal带到美国并得到前所未有的好评。
