Catacombe started life in the middle of 2007, when Pedro Sobast recorded some guitar tracks and piece them together to create the first Catacombe song, titled “The First Stone”. Pedro’s bedroom turns into an home studio, loaded with guitars, bass, keyboard and Recording stuff, some months later an homemade Ep is finished. With the “Memoirs” Ep, Catacombe creates a personal blend of Post-Metal and Experimental Rock; the delicate and quiet guitars, strong bass tunings and some aggressive riffs, have sometimes been compared to “Isis” with “Paradise Lost” traces or to “Explosions In The Sky” with steroids. I invite you to come along on this journey of melancholy, sweetness, riot and rampage.
