对于熟悉80年代中叶以降至90年代初期美国另类摇滚圈发展的乐迷而言，Jane's Addiction绝对是一个难以忘怀的举足轻重名字。而该团曾获AP杂志选为90年代最佳专辑之一的《Ritual De Lo Habitual》之所以重要，不只是因为诞生了Been Caught Stealing这首另类国歌，重要的是完美地透过Punk-Funk/Funk-Metal的强劲节拍与脉动，将乐团的混融Punk、Jazz、Folk的实验因子具体化呈现出来，展现出较先前专辑《Nothing's Shocking》更完整的歌曲结构，最令人惊艳是有Three Days这首毅然投向Art-Rock/Prog-Rock范畴、将近11分钟长的史诗杰作。当然不要忘记阵中嗓音带点歇斯底里神经质的灵魂人物兼主唱Perry Farrell，可说是Jane's Addiction的注册商标之一。
