And Hell Followed With

Biography by Eduardo Rivadavia Detroit, MI's And Hell Followed With may have nicked their moniker from a Johnny Cash song, but their technically advanced brand of extreme metalcore shares nothing else with the Man in Black (well, except for the black part, given their music's dark aesthetic). Beginning in 2006, vocalist Nick Holland, guitarists Kyle McIlmurray and Pat Hahn, bassist Andrew Tate, and drummer Billy Noffsinger, certainly showed initiative by playing on any stage that would have them before recording their debut mini-album, Domain, in 2008. And yet, after earning mostly negative reviews and then having to replace their frontman with former Borland vocalist Ryan Caudill, the group still graduated to the next level by landing on Earache Records with their sophomore album, Propioception, released in mid-2010.
