Cloud歌手简介

Hailing from Gothenberg in Sweden (home to our very own Plej), Cloud (aka Alex Berg) has an undisputable musical history. Brought up by musical parents and with his older brother Hird already having a successful recording career (his recent album "Moving On" has been creating quite a stir in the future jazz scene), it was a natural choice for Cloud to step into the studio… Gothenberg has been putting Sweden firmly on the music map of late, with a huge amount of young talent emerging. Cloud has been working diligently in his studio, experimenting and perfecting his craft. Living in Gothemberg has allowed him the opportunity to work with the many talented musicians based there. He plays live drums in a rock band and a hip hop band, very different to the music he produces on his own under the name Cloud! His sound is melodic and emotive, tinged with slices of pop. His first single Winter Nights features Joanna Wahlsten on vocals and has been given the remix treatment by fellow-acclaimed Swede, Swell Session. Consequent singles for exceptional taken from the stunning "Adventure" album have been extremely well-received, striking a chord with critics and music-lovers alike. Cloud's sensibility for melody combined with his pristine production techniques and his diverse sound are not only demonstrated on his own tracks but also on his recent remixes for Dalminjo’s cover of The Smiths classic 'There is a light that never goes out', Plej's 'Evum' and Oblong's 'Playing on my mind' - each track carrying significantly different qualities from one another. Without sounding contrived, Cloud’s sound effortlessly drifts from lush deep house to minimal electro and future jazz. Following his debut long-player, Cloud has since returned with two further EPs, "Diamondtrack" and "Hökarängen Space Program". Support has come from some of the deep house scene's finest - Jimpster, Tom Middleton and Buzzin Fly's Ben Watt.
