乐队历史
1972年Mother's Finest发行了首张专辑《Mother's Finest》。1976年Mother's Finest与Epic Records签约，发布了《Sophomore Effort》，也称作《Mother's Finest》。乐队接下来的三张专辑是《Another Mother Further》(1977年),《Mother Factor》(1978年)以及《Mother’S Finest Live》(1979年)。
1978年乐队出发去欧洲，并参加了Rockpalast系列音乐会。
乐队签约Atlantic Records，1981年发行了最重要的一张专辑《Iron Age》。
1989年Mother's Finest重组，在原始阵容中只缺少鼓手Barry Borden。他被Joyce Kennedy以及Glenn Murdock的儿子Dion Derek所替代。1990年，乐队发行了其第二张现场专辑《Subluxation》。
2011年9月16日，Mother's Finest入选了佐治亚州音乐名人堂。
