2001年Stoney发行了富有创造力及本土风格的第一张专辑《Amber》,正式出现在英国音乐界。这张专辑里的怪异歌曲创作于他的青少年时期，并在他离开家乡Croydon后于Sheffield的地下室里录制而成。这张专辑一开始只在当地的几间唱片店里独立销售，唱片公司为Holy Moly。Stoney承担了专辑里所有的乐器演奏工作。
