The Stars歌手简介
Stars是一支来自加拿大的独立乐团。最初乐团由主唱Torquil Campbell,键盘手Chris Seligman成立于多伦多。后来乐团迁往纽约，随后又迁往蒙特利尔。
乐团成员还有吉他手Amy Millan和贝斯手Ecan Cranley，鼓手Pat McGee，小提琴手Genevieve 。另外，吉他手Genevieve Walker也参与了乐团巡回演出。
乐队突破性单曲是来自他们04年专辑Set Youtself on Fire的Ageless Beauty在04年十月向加拿大小范围发行后，《Set Yourself on Fire》于05年三月在美国发行，获得了强烈反响和很高的评价。
Millan和Cranley也是独立乐队Broken Social Scene的队员。Millan在07年以个人身份发行了名为《Honey From the Tombs》的专辑。
Campbell也成立了Memphis乐队，并于07年发行了他们的第二张专辑！
