Sargon

Sargon was formed by Frank Van Kwartel (Guitar and Vocals) in Panama city. The band came to life in late 2008 with Ed Candanedo on the Bass and Alex Marquez on Drums (Ex Malevolent Creation). Sargon has an independently released mini-cd entitled Vehemence which was recorded in Febuary 2009. As of August 2009, the band parts ways with Ed Candanedo due to time and job related issues. The band wishes Ed good luck with all that he does in the future, and he'll always be a part of Sargon's twisted family. In September 2009 the band welcomes Kovacs as the new bass player. After a few live shows in their home country, Sargon had the opportunity to open for Malevolent Creation in Costa Rica on October 17, 2009. Sargon are currently in the studio recording their first full length album entitled "In Contempt". The new material promises to be a heavier more focused Sargon expressing a hatred/fury unique to the Central American region.
