Esteban are a rock band – a lifestyle of music, art, brotherhood, parties and touring. With songs drenched in addictive pop hooks, four part vocal harmonies, Latin and African beats and rock guitars, Esteban create a life affirming, soul stirring world sound explosion. Derbyshire based Esteban formed under terrifying circumstances, backpacking in Bali during the terrorist attacks of 2002. Hanging out together around late night camp fires, stories were told about the world and its ways and the 4 musicians embarked on a life changing voyage to South East Asia where their eyes were fully opened to the world in which we live. With touring firmly in their blood, Esteban have appeared alongside Dizzee Rascal, The Zutons, Friendly Fires, The Cuban Brothers and Gomez. With over 130 shows in 2009 including festival appearances and sell out club dates, Esteban have earned their reputation as an amazing, exciting live act.
