Sharp Turn Ahead

We are 14 year old twin brothers, Kyle and Benjamin Sharp, urrently living in Southern California. We have been performing together from a very early age, ever since Kyle strapped on his first guitar at the age of 2. At the beginning of 2011, Benjamin decided to add a new element to the band, by picking up the piano, and since that time, we have been performing for live audiences every chance we get. Since the Summer of 2012, as Sharp Turn Ahead, we have performed more than 70 shows around Southern California, from San Diego to Los Angeles, at venues including the Knott's Berry Farm, Americana at Brand in Glendale, the Irvine Spectrum, The District (Tustin), the Sawdust Arts Festival in Laguna Beach, the San Clemente Fiesta Street Festival, the Shoppes at Chino Hills, Bella Terra, the Orange County Fair, the San Diego Fair, the Long Beach Town Center, Seaport Village in San Diego and as part of "December Nights", a very large annual event in Balboa Park, San Diego. We have also performed at various retail locations in Laguna Beach and have performed for a number of private parties. We are young musicians, no doubt, but we believe we bring something new and fresh for the younger listening audiences, and are excited about our opportunities. We have learned and played over 80 cover songs in the past 20 months, and currently have 40 songs on our active song list, along with seven original songs. We are serious about our music and are energized by the pure joy we see in the faces of those watching us perform. Keep your eye on us as we find our way through the world of music.
