Hulda

HULDA lives on some enchanting and quite unknown islands that often are covered in fog and mystery. A lot of superstition was, and somehow still is, in the islands of HULDA. Among them are the belief in Huldufólk which are supernatural creatures that live in rocks but sometimes humans get a glimpse of their underworld. HULDA’s music is full of mystery, with overwhelming beats and a clear female vocal which HULDA uses in many different ways, layers and levels. The lyrics deal with subjects as sea, sorrow, wind, love and other topics that reflects the vibe from HULDA's islands. HULDA thinks it's about time that people get a chance to listen to the haunting sounds, get a glimpse of the mysterious yet enchanting universe that HULDA is all about. HULDA collaborates closely with the producer Jens L. Thomsen, known from the band ORKA. She is currently working on her debut album, that mainly will be released as singles. HULDA has so far released 2 singles, the Faroese "Sorgin" and the song "Every Drop". HULDA works with many great artists on the debut album, among them are LV, Allan Tausen, Guðrið Hansdóttir and Helgi. HULDA is signed to Tutl Records. HULDA will release her third single in late November.
