Christopher Don，艺名Donny，开始创作音乐只是为了消磨时间和娱乐。从鼓手开始，Donny对grooves和节奏的兴趣逐渐变成了对电子音乐，特别是鼓和贝司的热爱。Donny投资工作室并专注于学习制作的细节，不久开始完善制作D＆B，在2006年初，Mindrush唱片公司签下他，发行了单曲“Medieval Beating”和“Hide & Seek”。
