Erebus Enthroned

Genre: Black Metal N - Voice D - Guitar A - Bass M - Drums EREBUS ENTHRONED was formed in the year 2006. Spanning its inception until 2009, the band underwent a formative period with a number of members coming and going, scattered live performances, the demo tape ‘Divine Legions of Satan’ and the ‘Spiritual Deconstruction’ split CD/MC released. With vocalist ‘Nihilifer’ and guitarist ‘Decay’ remaining within the fold for these short years of trial, ‘M’ was recruited on drums and ‘A’ on bass guitar. The fourfold synod casting a new light upon what was Erebus Enthroned in its birth throes. At the band’s foremost point the current line-up persisted to execute numerous live ceremonies, write and record the debut full length album ‘Night’s Black Angel’ – released on CD by Séance Records and on LP by Blood Harvest Records. ‘Night’s Black Angel’ received its own acclaim within Australian and international underground music circles with an Australian tour, handfuls of underground Australian metal festival appearances, headlining shows and international supports. Having shared the stage with bands such as Absu, Marduk, Dark Funeral, Archgoat, Sadistic Intent, Vassafor, Nazxul, Cauldron Black Ram, Portal, Denouncement Pyre, Drowning the Light, Nocturnal Graves among many others, Erebus Enthroned continues to press forth with uniquely dark and intense live performances. Each living ceremony is an experience of the senses and a shock to the psyche, a sinister cultivation of creative and destructive energies flowing in tandem. The year 2013 saw only three live performances alongside Marduk, Denouncement Pyre and at the annual Evil Invaders festival. Within the first half of the year the final pieces of a long journey were put together, resulting in the sophomore full length endeavour. At the year’s mid-point the album was taken to the studio to be recorded. To close the year a split 10” MLP with Polish Occult Black Metal esoterrorists Blaze of Perdition was released under the sign of Pagan Records.
