Booty Thrill

Genre : Future Funk, Disco House, Hip Hop   "If Booty Thrill is the sound of the future, I'm excited for tomorrow!" -UnHoly Rhythms   Born in Dallas, TX, the home of music legends such as Erykah Badu, Ornette Coleman and Roy Hargrove, Booty Thrill moved to Boston, MA to study music at the prestigious Berklee College of Music as a guitar principle. He soon traded strumming his guitar for beat making all while being surrounded by the top musicians in the world. Learning rigorous music theory, ear training and being exposed to a myriad of genres: everything from free jazz to French house to Detroit hip-hop all helped shape the "Booty Thrill sound." He is also the younger cousin of former NBA superstar turned DJ Rony Seikaly.   In early 2011 he put out his first official release titled Phewture Funk; incorporating guitar, analog synthesizers, drum machines and sampling to craft a unique sound that blended hip-hop, disco and electronic music.   His follow up album Thrillwave is scheduled for a 2012 release and will feature rappers from Boston, Dallas and New York.
