Bogdan Ota歌手简介

Bogdan Ota was born in a small town in North-Eastern Romania on May 10 th, 1978. He was only 7 when he fell in love with the sound of the piano, therefore he insisted that his parents buy one for him. ‘I remember that my first piano was a Bluthner, I still have it until this day, at my home in Romania. I wanted to learn as much as I could by myself so I used to spend countless hours in front of it. I could never give it away. It has gained its place among my family members.’ After graduating ‘Stefan Luchian’ Music Highschool of Botosani, at age 18 he was admitted first in ‘George Enescu’ Music University of Iasi- Department of Instrumental Interpretation. "I wanted to write my own music, to try my own sounds, I knew I had something to say in music, my way…". In 2003 he graduated ‘George Enescu’ Music University and had the diploma degree on instrumental nterpretation-piano major. Bogdan has no specialty studies in composition, in this area he has always been self-disciplined, therefore, everything he composed was based on his talent and imagination. In the summer of 2010, amid the burst of the financial crisis that has shaken the Romanian economy, Bogdan left the country, heading Norway. There, after a few months, working in a heavy duty job, he was secretly listed by his boss in a television contest –’Norway got Talent’- thus, his talent was discovered by Sony Music Norway. Due to the Tv appearances, he was noticed by Rino Hemstad Eliasen, a young film producer and director, who offered him the opportunity to compose the soundtrack for his movie, ‘Sirenen.’ On June 2011, Bogdan was invited to one of the most popular television talk show in Romania- ‘Daily Summary’, presented by Mihai Gadea. It was the first time he performed live in Romania in a tv station after the success he had on ‘Norske Talenter’ show and The rating of this TV program was overwhelming. As expected, the offers for concerts did not cease to appear, thus, his second appearance in front of the Romanian public was at the International Festival of Mangalia, where he managed to reveal his music to an audience of almost 22.000 people, as a special guest of the International Festival of Mangalia. His recital was live broadcasted on the romanian National Television, TVR1 and TVR3. Another huge success was ‘The Extraordinary Concert Bogdan Ota ‘.The concert took place on September 17th in Constitution Square in Bucharest and it was his first performance with the National Orchestra and Radio Choir conducted by the famous Tiberiu Soare. On that night, in front of the House of Parliament, over 30.000 people gathered to enjoy Bogdan’s music. ‘ I was completely overwhelmed by that mass of people I saw from the stage. The crowd was spread everywhere I looked, the traffic was diverted and I couldn’t hold my emotions. It was the first time I played with 103 musicians altogether on a stage and the show felt dazzling: the stage filled with musicians, the choir, the huge displays, the lights and special effects, the frantic applauses calling me to return on stage…I wished it wouldn’t have ended! His career started to grow and in March 2012 Bogdan took the decision to create his own symphonic orchestra. In this way NORDIC SONATA was born. This project is a mix between a classical orchestra with pre recorded modern sounts and synths. therefore the sonorities are huge and the sounds complement each other. On March 2012 the musical critic Sergiu Alex (Constantin Ivanes) from Radio Cluj came with an amazing proposal of writing a book about Bogdan’s life and his early beginings. The book is mastered as an interview with Bogdan. On 28th of May the book called “Bogdan Ota si pianul care apropie cerul” was released in Radio Cluj’s concert hall. The sales were huge since the very first day and the book is present in all the major libraries across Romania and also on the publisher web site www.edituraeikon.ro On 8th of June another big event in Bogdan’s career took place in Botosani. “Extraordinary Concert Bogdan Ota” with the State Philharmonic and Anima Musicae Choir with the famous conductor Cristian Orosanu. The concert was a real success, the concert hall was over populated with 600 people. It was a huge project with over 100 people on stage.
