SANDSTONE is a four piece Melodic Metal band from Derry Northern Ireland. The band formed in 2003 when Sean vocals and Stevie guitar began writing and recording in their home studio. From the start the priority has always been songwriting, we 're influenced by everything from old school trad metal to thrash, prog, hair metal and are partial to the odd power ballad or 6 In 2006 Sandstone signed to Casket Records and released their debut CD “Tides of Opinion” The CD was self recorded and produced in the spare room of Stevie 's house and is a collection of 12 diverse songs dealing with such topics as the war on terror, abandonment, infidelity, and friendship.
