British Sea Power乐队成立于英国西北部城市Kendall。Yan是主唱和吉他，Noble是吉他手，Hamilton通常弹贝司，偶尔也会作为主音和吉他，Wood则一心一意地作为鼓手。Yan、Hamilton及Wood从少年时起即是至交，年少轻狂便一同踏上了寻找音乐理想的旅程。乐队成员后来迁居至英格兰的Brighton，以其硬朗的音乐作风和疯狂的现场在当地获得了大量的拥趸并从此被厂牌相中。成名路上，British Sea Power始终坚持着自己诚恳的音乐态度，花样百出而又状况不断的劲爆现场更是渐渐成为了他们的特色标签。
