Marco Barrientos

Born in Mexico, Marco graduated from the Bible Institute Christ for the Nations in 1985. He is known as a worship leader and international speaker. In recent years, he has emphasized the prophetic song that flows through him, which can be heard powerfully in his recordings. Since then, he has been in full-time ministry, beginning as associate pastor of "Amistad Cristiana" in Mexico City. He remained there for 13 years until he felt called to found the ministry "Amistad Cristiana Internacional" and the music label "Aliento Producciones", of which he is president. Marco has 30 recordings of praise and worship, and is the author of "El plan de Dios para ti" (Gods plan for you) and "Muéstrame Tu Gloria" (Show Me Your Glory), which have been recently published. He travels extensively, carrying the conference "Aliento del Cielo" throughout the world and more recently to ELAM, "Escuela de Líderes y Artes del Ministerio" (School of Leadership and art Ministry). The school is considered a facilitator for people to have meaningful encounters in the presence of God. His ministry is primarily about teaching people the principles and dynamics of the Kingdom of God, helping them to apply it in a practical way in their daily lives. His desire is to see every person firmly established in the Kingdom, educated in the Word of God, loving the Lord with all their heart, and fulfilling Gods purpose for their lives. For this reason, on September 26, 2004, he and his wife began the church "Centro Internacional Aliento". Marco is a graduate of practical theology and has developed a strategic alliance with CFNI, where he is a Bible teacher. He and his wife, Carla, have been married for fifteen years and currently reside in Dallas, Texas, along with their two children, Daniela and Marco.
