Maisy Kay is a 16 year old self-taught pianist whose voice effuses theatricality at some moments and tenderness during others. She’s without doubt a potential pop star in the making and she’s ready to slay all your faves. The UK-born and LA-based iron-lunged ingenue is a provocative lyricist in the vein of Tori Amos. She’s garnered praise for her piercing debut single “Blood Filled Tears“, which talk about a close friend’s suicide and it was released in late June. The new single is brillant and where the singer shows her mezzo-soprano vocal range with confessional lyrics to send a positive message to her peers as well as herself.
